Illinois

In mid-August we headed out to Illinois for Keith & Courtney's wedding. This was Finn's first trip on an airplane and he did awesome. It was mom & dad's first time taking a small child on a airplane; they didn't do too badly either.

 

We got the chance to see a game at Wrigley Field with Junior, after spending a relaxing first night visiting with his family in Lake in the Hills, IL

 

We headed south to Bloomington, IL when the score was 17-2 so that we could get a head start on rush hour traffic. We made it to the rehersal dinner in time. We enjoyed a nice weekend with Keith, Courtney and their families. Keith has a thing for Finn....

 

and apparently Finn has a thing for Keith's new wife!

 

It was nice to spend time with Keith. I know that it's a treat for Tom since they are so rarely together. Some of the highlights included a Saturday morning yarn crawl to shops in Bloomington, a visit to the Farmer's Market, stopping for a snack at Steak & Shake, windmills and a fun, fun wedding reception at the DoubleTree.
