This story breaks my heart. I did not know Colleen, but many people that I know through knitting and through Ravelry did. Apparently, she was an amazing woman. Sadly, she lost her battle with cancer last Friday and leaves behind her husband and two young children (ages 5 & 2).
The link above contains information about a fund raiser that is being held in her honor. I believe the funds raised will go to her children's college fund. Please consider buying something between Oct 28th and Nov 4th in support of Colleen and her family.
Young children should never lose their mom!
