15 month checkup

Norah had her 15 month check up on Friday. She is now weighing 19 lbs, 7oz. She is 30 inches tall and her head measures 18 inches around. The doctore said her height and head circumference are keeping pace, but he weight isn't. He wants her to have milk with meals daily to try to boost her weight a bit. This visit also served as a follow up from her sick visit a couple of weeks ago. Norah's ear infection is still lingering so she is on a new antibiotic. She also has a yeast infection (which doc thinks is a result of the first antibiotic) so he prescribed an antifungal cream for use during diaper changes. Due to her runny nose, Norah got to put her shots off until September!
While Dad & Norah waited for the prescriptions to be filled, Dad took Norah to a petting zoo that was set up temporarily in a local shopping center parking lot. Norah got to see all sorts of animals. She tried to hold out her hand to feed an alpaca but got scared when he came close. She let Dad to the feeding from then on.
