8 Months Old

Norah turned 8 months old yesterday. She continues to get more coordinated and she has perfected pulling up to stand. She can now stand at the couch or ottoman holding one with only one hand. I think that cruising or walking while holding on is coming soon. We have 6 teeth through the gum now, the last of which is just peeking through. Norah has taken teething like a champ. She has had some fuzziness but overall, not too bad. She is nursing less these days, in part because I am working and in part because she would rather not turn her back on the world in order to eat. She continues with solids twice daily with her portion size increasing. This week she tried avocado for the first time with mixed feelings about it. She is also taking 6-8 oz from a bottle now so we had to buy her the tall ones. Our little girl is getting big!

Norah's next adventure is swimming lessons! We registered her for "Aquatots" this morning at Healthtrax. She will have class (with mom or dad joining her in the pool) on Saturday mornings for the next six weeks. Photos will be posted....don't worry.

Norah (and her parents) would like to thank all those people who sent and/or delivered Christmas presents. Norah got some really nice gifts that we all appreciate. Thanks to generous gifts from friends and family, Norah's college fund continues to grow (almost as fast as she does).

Speaking of growing, Norah outgrew her Patriots outfit so she needed a new one for the playoffs. Pretty cute, huh?
